Recognition for a Mexican Publisher of Video Games

The Mexican Undersecretary of the Economy recognized Slang for being the first Mexican publisher of video games for the Xbox, PlayStation 3 (PS3), Play Station Portable (PSP), Wii and Nintendo DS consoles.

The publisher’s first title is Lucha Libre AAA 2011: Heroes del Ring, which is considered to be the most ambitious video game project to date conceived and constructed entirely in Latin America.

Lucha Libre AAA was developed with support from DevelopMX, which is a program for the promotion of the game industry in Mexico, and the visionary who created the Mexican business accelerator (SMEs), which supports small and medium technology-based companies.

Slang received recognition from the Secretary of Economics in the category of Innovation and Technological Development.

The title for which the award was received will be published in collaboration with Televisa Home Entertainment, will feature the voice over talent of Arturo "El Rudo 'Rivera and Alfonso' the Doctor 'Morales, both Televisa Deportes commentators.

The title is expected to be available in the first half of 2010.

 

 
 

Creators of Lucha Libre AAA: 2011 Heroes del Ring Recognized

Mexico City-Slang, the creator of video game inspired by AAA, Lucha Libre AAA 2011: Heroes del Ring, received an award in the category of SME Innovation and Technological Development, as the first video game publisher consisting Mexicans who are developing the project of Lucha Libre AAA, the most ambitious video game industry that has taken place in Latin America.

This game, created with support from DevelopMX, through visionary program to promote the video game industry in Mexico and using quality platform, has the original voices narrating the show from the AAA: Arthur "The Rudo "Rivera and Alfonso" El Doctor "Morales, both Televisa Deportes commentators.

It is expected that the versions for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, developed by Immersion Games with the Unreal Engine 3, and Wii and PSP, Sabarasa Inc. Will be available during the first half of 2010 with the support of Televisa Home Entertainment distribution.

 

 
 

The SME recognizes Slang for the development of the video game \'AAA Wrestling 2010: Heroes of the Ring\'

MEXICO CITY, Mexico, November 6, 2009 -The company that created the game Lucha Libre AAA 2010: Heroes of the Ring, Slang, received the SME Award in the category of Innovation and Technological Development, from the hands of Assistant Secretary for Small and Medium Business, Heriberto Felix.

The Ministry of Finance awarded Slang this recognition for being the first video game console publisher composed of Mexicans who are developing the project of Lucha Libre AAA. The most ambitious of the video game industry has been conducted from Latin America, with the support of DevelopMX, Visionary Program for Promoting the videogame industry in Mexico.

Slang is the first video game console publisher which specializes in Latin American intellectual properties for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable.

Lucha Libre AAA 2010: Heroes of the Ring is a title published by Slang, in partnership with Televisa Home Entertainment and features the original voice narration from the AAA television by: Arturo "El Rudo" Rivera and Alfonso "El Doctor" Morales, both Televisa Deportes commentators.

 

 
 

Advance Notice for Lucha Libre AAA 2011: Heroes del Ring

Mexico, Oct 23 (Notimex)- This Saturday, AAA fighters Konnan and he Chosen, will demonstrate a preview version of the Lucha Libre AAA 2011: Heroes del Ring video game, sign autographs and meet fans.

At this year’s "Electronic Game Show 2009” held in Santa Fe, the two AAA gladiators will present the game this Saturday between 11:30am and 12:00pm.

The playable beta version of the title may be tested exclusively on the XBOX 360 system at EGS 2009,which started this Friday and will culminate on Sunday.
"Lucha Libre AAA 2011: Heroes del Ring", will be published by Slang in collaboration with Televisa Home Entertainment, and will be available for all consoles in the first half of 2010.

The first video game to feature mexican wrestling to be announced

Mexico City, June 11th, 2009. The teaser of the first ever videogame featuring Mexican wrestlers will be announced in the event Triplemania XVII this weekend. The new game, unlike others featuring wrestling, is directed for the first time at the Hispanic market. It successfully reflects the essence and feeling of the shows organized by the AAA in Mexico, with commentary in Spanish, the opportunity to choose the best known wrestlers and their masks, become involved in the throws, holds and locks and be completely involved in the fight, as well as connecting with the public.

This game is published by Slang, a company dedicated to promoting the creativity and innovation of Hispanic culture on world class platforms. The game is designed on Unreal Engine 3, one of the most powerful of new generation game consoles, such as XBOX 360 and PLAYSTATION 3, both created by Immersion Games Studio. It should be available commercially at the end of 2009 and, at a later date, versions created by Sabarasa Studio for Wii, Nintendo DS and PSP, will be launched.

The first official shots of this new game, anticipated anxiously by the avid followers of the AAA, will be announced during the celebration of Triplemanía XVII, on Saturday June 13th, in the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City.
